Resident Councils function as the united voice for each public housing development, and council membership is open to all residents 18 years and older. Monthly general meetings are held in each community, with agenda items focusing on issues and concerns, and planning for recreational activities. Duly elected council officers oversee monthly meetings, manage council finances, record meeting minutes, and represent the membership at large. RHA staff attend monthly general meetings, executive planning meetings, and committee meetings as requested, and provide ongoing support and assistance.
Resident Council meetings are member meetings only and are not open to the public. Only those guests invited by officers on behalf of the membership may attend.
